The True Cost of Happiness?

Aloha to ya'll!
After a week of hanging out in no mans land, I have decided to come to yet another conclusion in my life. It all started out by making the trip down to the middle of nowhere aka Oklahoma. Not sure where I was, but I do know the closest WalMart was about forty miles away. That is when you know you have hit BFE. Anyway, after five days down there I realized that maybe money and success is not directly related to happiness in life. I mean seriously, the median income down that way is around $40K per year. Being a young single guy in KC, I know that I cannot live as comfortably as I am used to on that kind of cash. To my utter shock, most people down there not only live on that, but live very well indeed. I have never met that many people in one place that were so happy with their lives. It wasnt until I was sitting on a boat in the middle of Lake Texoma that it hit me. Sitting there with the sun setting and the moon rising, I truly realized what happiness is. Boiled down and stripped of all the b.s. in life, happiness is what you make it to be. While I would never find a lifetime of happiness down there, that doesnt mean that others would not. With that knowledge in hand, I am off to seek true happiness. Good luck to each of you to not only find that in your life, but to live it as well. Till next time, peace out!
